Progressing Backwards

Is racism bad? Yes. On both sides of the aisle. It runs both toward and from several ethnicities. Personally, I’d like to see people of all skin colors and ethnic backgrounds get along and just acknowledge each other as people without any describers other than gender or hair color or other innocuous stuff. Except then there’d end up being animosity based on THAT.  Because that’s how humans work. We are a warring and excessive animal.

The George Floyd situation? Clearly wrong and those men deserve to be punished. Absolutely. The man who exercised unnecessary force and violence as well as those who had a responsibility to ensure he didn’t act that way. When you wear a badge you’re held to a higher standard and you ARE you brother’s keeper. It is your responsibility to keep your brothers in check. Not just the citizenry but those with badges as well.

I fully agree with peaceable protest for justice. Absolutely. PEACEABLE protest. Not looting, rioting and being violent. That’s not how to push for justice; it’s how you show your base nature of being a lowlife or a thug. Those using these protests as a cover or excuse for their criminal acts show precisely WHY we need the police they’re protesting against.
True to our human nature, though, these protests have gone to extremes. The reaction to this instance of unnecessary violence and abuse by police has been carried too far. It’s like humans look for a cause, find the line, then just proceed to cross that line. The response by the police to George Floyd was excessive, so the response to it is excessive too. Human nature.

And part of this excess is crying for defunding and/or dismantling police. Out of 60 million interactions between police and citizens a year, we have one case like this every 4-5 years. So, basically, 1 case out of roughly 1.3 BILLION interactions. But the protests say black people are being targeted. Except the numbers don’t support this. Who cares about facts when you can respond with emotion? Emotion clouds reason and logic so basing policy and affecting change based on emotion is a terrible idea. So I’m sure that’s what’ll end up happening. Right up until they later realize how terrible that decision was.

Disband the police? Then what? Are we promoting vigilantism? Surely no one thinks crime is just gonna stop if you get rid of the police. Surely no one is dumb enough to think that any excessive violence or racism by people will just disappear if you dismantle the police.  Are these “progressive” people really pushing for us to return to the Wild Wild West? Why is progressive supposed to mean “moving forward” or “forward thinking” but it’s a name adopted by the most SHORT SIGHTED members of society? It’s like they enjoy the hypocrisy of their oxymoronic behavior so much they adopted a name that suited said hypocrisy.
Look, I’m all for progress but maybe we should do something that’s actually progressive instead of regressive.  I’m all for checks and balances. I’m all for righting wrongs. However, I’m not down with the hypocrisy of blaming the entirety of one group for the actions of the few. That’s prejudicial by definition and close minded by practice.

Protesting all over the place to end prejudice while exercising prejudicial behavior doesn’t make you any better than those you’re protesting against.  Committing criminal acts while pushing to disband police makes you part of the problem, not the solution. Try changing YOUR behavior before insisting everyone else change theirs.
Are there police that abuse power and have no business having a badge? Yes. Unfortunately, though it’s not just law enforcement where this problem occurs, they get the most media attention because of the deaths that result. Not that every death that’s been protested is solely the fault of the constabulary involved. This one? Definitely was senseless, needless and the fault of those law enforcement officers involved. It was way over the top, just as the response has been.

Here’s the problem with those pushing to disband law enforcement... right now you’ve got an organized group upon which you could focus your anger and disapproval. What happens if you succeed and we have no law enforcement? Let’s look first just at one aspect.... things would move in one of two directions.

First, let’s say it just leads to martial law. You think having the government make our decisions for us and enforcing them with an iron fist is going to be a better solution? That’s laughable.
Secondly, let’s say the police get disbanded and there is no martial law. So then we’ve got lawlessness and vigilantism and now you don’t have an organized group to voice your displeasure to. Don’t like what’s going on? Then shit will just get more violent in response and everything escalates. Sure hope you’re not one of those liberals who doesn’t believe in gun ownership when your “solution” backfires on you and the people who protect you are all fired and told not to protect you anymore.

Remember, wars are the result of two or more parties of opposing opinions reacting in the extreme. Keep taking protests and shit to extremes and demanding extreme “solutions” and see if peaceful “getting along” is the natural outcome.

Finally, and think hard about this..... demand the firing of the roughly 20,000 people who are trying to enforce law in the other 328 million (and ever increasing) people in the U.S. alone and put them on welfare and unemployment. Hell, keep decreasing the number of people paying taxes and increasing the number of those without jobs.  Now who’s supporting the rest of the country? Apparently you’re not familiar with the formulas that lead to economic collapse. Now imagine that collapse with no one to put their life on the line for you.  Welcome to the prequel for a Mad Max type of society.

Panicdemic

So you’ve got an oversized mask that doesn’t really do shit for ya, the oversized nitrile or latex glove flapping around on just one hand, cell phone in the other, wearing flip flops, shorts and tank top. Congrats on being safe as possible. You’ve got this whole thing down. You probably also wear your mask in your car.  There’s a pandemic going on, ya know.

You went into the store with it’s “one-way only” aisles and stock piled for the apocalypse, grabbing way more than you need to make sure there’s not enough left for anyone else.  Paid with a debit card that’s been in god knows how many machines, using your dominant hand because you already had that glove off so it didn’t get in the way while you were texting. Good thinking. Again, congrats on being super safe. You’ll likely just leave your cart sitting up against the car one space over as you unload it and just leave it there as you drive off.  Can’t be bothered to put it away... there’s a pandemic going on.

Now that you’re all loaded up you’re done with the mask and glove so that’ll get tossed out right there in the parking lot.  You don’t carry biohazard waste bags with you and Walmart didn’t put any right next to your car for you, so what do they expect you to do with your disposable corona gear? Go ahead, just toss it on the ground. There’s a pandemic going on.

Now you’ll get in your magic bubble of a car, put another mask on, zoom around texting, change lanes without signaling, cut across a few lanes to hit the turn you nearly missed while playing FarmVille and shit, and it’ll be ok if you cause an accident or kill someone because you’re “COVID FREE”.  Of course, there’s also a chance that you weren’t playing your game and you were just facebooking about how much we need to look out for others during this pandemic. That seems to be a popular thing to do too, either on Facebook or twitting. #hypocrite

The most dangerous part of this flu, so far, has been the panic and paranoia. It’s like hoarders meets doomsday preppers out there. And the level of paranoia? Crazy. I wouldn’t be surprised if even Liberals are buying guns so they can pop off a few rounds at anyone who coughs. That’d be a sight to see... those “anti gun” people who can’t tell a trigger from a straw just trying to blam away. There’s a panicdemic going on.

Of course, I’m surprised those Liberals haven’t lost their entire minds about the pseudo “social distancing” in home improvement places. People will get close enough to run your toes over with a buggy or elbow you out of their way in the aisle but freak out if you’re within 8 feet of them at the register. Trust me, if you’re gonna get this flu at the store, it’s not gonna be at the register.

Egocentric, narcissistic assholes. If you’re honestly worried then just hermetically seal yourself at home and order everything online. Stay off the roads, out of the stores, and quit throwing your useless homemade “bio wear” on the ground.  I’m fine with you online crusader, real life hypocrites staying home year round every year.

Living the DreamWorks

Ok, folks, I’ve stayed away long enough. I’ve not posted in a long time but I just can’t stand it anymore. Every day I see the insanity just increase and I can’t help but laugh when I’m out in public now.

Used to be that when people looked at me like I’d just grown a dick out of my forehead I figured I’d said something out loud again. These days I get that look because I’m not walking around in biohazard gear, homemade or otherwise. Because that seems to be the new dress code. I’m half expecting to see top fashion designers displaying their “high fashion gas masks” soon.

I go to Publix and the aisles are all “one way” now with arrows on the floor and everything.  Cashiers in surgical masks and gloves, customers in surgical masks, using bandanas as masks, or any other homemade concoction they can think of. Best part? The large majority are using them with big ole gaps in the sides or  only half right. Not sure what they’re trying to prevent but it damn sure isn’t this flu.

Quick tip... bandanas and surgical masks don’t keep you from catching a cold. They’re great for your pollen allergies but not super for cold prevention. So you wore a cheesy mask all half-assed. Good on ya.  Did you sanitize all your groceries? Did you sanitize the gas pump? Your money and cards? Your paper towel and toilet paper packages? You know, the ones you hoarded in case you shit yourself to death as a result of fear and paranoia.

Did you sanitize the tabloids you picked up? You know, the ones that told us Tom Hanks has COVID and is going to tell us about his “brave struggle”.  People are paranoid because of how many people have this flu or have died as a result but Tom Hanks getting it? That’s earth shattering news! Now we know he’s human. And the world keeps spinning.

We won’t need actors anymore anyway because it’s kinda like we’re living in a movie these days. The first week or so after America began freaking out the stores looked like they’d had a going out of business sale. Even guns and ammo flew off the shelves. (Bet that pissed off the Democrats).

I had to order ammo online and paid twice what I normally do. I just wanted to be able to play at the range. Are we prepping for an apocalypse? Or are we just all getting ready to hunt for our food because hoarders are emptying the stores? If so, maybe we should start our hunting with these people who are buying out things just so they can price gouge for these things online.

Sorry. I’ve gone on long enough this time. I’m sure I’ll be back soon to talk about how crazy things are becoming. The crazy just keeps amplifying because of this cold that’s going around.

Going Fool Hogg

David Hogg, I just keep hearing about him. This kid is all over the place these days. Politically, in the news and mentally. Gotta admit, I like that he’s standing up for what he believes.

However.... kid, make up your mind. Really. He states he wants schools to be safer. So changes are implemented to improve safety and security. Looky there, a difference has been made.
Wait. He’s unhappy about these changes; this added security? Well that’s weird. I thought that’s what he wanted? No? But...but... why not? Let’s take a look, maybe they are bad changes.

First up, more Resource Officers. Can this be bad? I mean, if they are the kind that are going to take shelter and cover their own ass instead of protect the kids then, yes, that would be bad. But the Resource Officer in Maryland taught us that armed resource officers can and will stop a threat post haste.

Now, the next issue he’s unhappy about, the biggest one, is clear backpacks. He feels it infringes on their First Amendment rights. I’m not sure if he’s read that Amendment. For those who haven’t, it states that “Congress shall pass no laws... prohibiting freedom of religion... freedom of speech... or freedom to peaceably assemble”
Which of these freedoms does a clear backpack “infringe upon”? Is there a religion dictating “opaque backpacks”? Maybe he’s planning on having people peaceably assemble inside a backpack...? It’s ok, you cartoon-headed looking boy, the transparency of your backpack won’t affect your protests. Unless you’re planning on putting weapons in there. The whole point is so we can see people trying to sneak in weapons.

First off, this little “Mr Garrison” look alike has his amendments all confused. He’s trying to imply that a clear backpack being part of the new school policy is an invasion of privacy. Guess what, that’s the Fourth Amendment. I thought for sure they’d go over the Constitution in school by now. Or at the California School he’s purported to have graduated from in 2015.
Or maybe numbers just isn’t his thing. This kid doesn’t know which Amendments are which and HE’S the media appointed spokesman who’s an expert on government?! For the sake of helping this bobbleheaded fool argue his point, let’s look what the rule is about the Fourth Amendment at schools...

At school campuses around the country you are subject to search while on campus. Lockers, backpacks and vehicles on high school and college campuses. It’s an issue that’s been argued back and forth for decades. In Massachusetts it even went to court after a dorm room search discovered drugs:

‘The Supreme Judicial Court concluded that college officials did not violate the Fourth Amendment when they initially entered the room without a warrant, because that entry "was intended to enforce a legitimate health and safety rule that related to the college's function as an educational institution." ‘

A clear backpack? Pfft. After all the arguments over which flags people are allowed to fly, this muppet wants to get upset over transparency? Where was his outrage over kids wearing uniforms to school since before he was a glimmer in his daddy’s eye? A clear backpack? For years kids have been sent home to change for wearing shirts the School didn’t agree with.

My son will be attending a charter school next year. They have dress code requirements that includes a uniform. This school has had this requirement for decades. Does a dress code or uniform infringe on the First Amendment? No. Does a clear backpack? No.
This kid is worried that it’s going to make tampons too obvious. Really?! THAT’S the big problem?! Here he and his friends make a big movement about “safety in schools” but doesn’t want any actual safety measurements implemented because of TAMPONS?!

“No guns or weapons allowed in school but don’t worry, we won’t look in your backpack, it’s an honor system”.
Look, I’m all for safety in the schools. I’ve got kids, I want them safe. If my boys have to have clear backpacks so that no other kid can carry a 9 millimeter to school, I’ll take that trade everydamnday.

It makes you wonder... is this helium headed kid actually worried about safety in schools  or is this just some personal vendetta because his grandpa and Roscoe were never able to lock up them Duke Boys? I always thought Boss Hogg was a fool, this kid is living up to it.

Where Did All of the Gentlemen Go?

Years ago men knew what it was like to be a man. Men respected women and held them in high regards. Men held open doors for women out of respect and stood closest to the road to protect them. Men knew what it was like to have one woman and only one woman and to have more than one was scandalous. Though men tried to lure a woman into bed, but respected the word, “No.” Where did these men go? Were they sucked up by an alien life force? Women killed these men, but not a physical sense. Women burned their bras and demanded equal rights. In demanding these rights, we slowly started killing off the gentlemen. Women didn’t want a man to hold a chair or a door because they felt it made them appear weak and helpless. Slowly men didn’t know how to be men, because women constantly criticized them for their efforts. We, the mothers of boys, have done our sons a great disservice by not teaching them how a man should behave. We, the mother of girls, haven’t taught our daughters how men should treat them. As time marches on men know less and less on how to be men. Why should they be gentlemen, when we don’t demand it of our men and our sons? Most women say, “I can do anything a man can do.” The question is: why would you want to? As a woman just because a man can do it, doesn’t mean I should be doing it. Each gender was created with strengths and weaknesses and that is the way it should be. Will you dare to be a gentleman in this current world?

Spatial Disappointment

Has anyone else noticed that there aren't UFO sightings like there were in the 60's and 70's? Hell, even into the 80's. It's like aliens just quit visiting. (Clearly it's not that there are less drugs).Ever wonder why they stopped coming around? I think I know. I think we've scared them off.
No, not by our military might and technology. By our society. I mean, I can't blame them. I get a lot bit nervous and worried about the direction we are headed in as well. I think they've simply given up on the search for intelligent life on our planet because, well, there's so little of it. Unless you count cats. Cats are pretty smart. Humans? Not so much. Humans are the dumbest smart creature on the planet.

Seriously, folks, but we may be getting a little carried away these days. This "trans" stuff is just getting absurd. Have you seen this stuff lately? Holy hell.

There's a "man" who was/is a woman who is pregnant. Their spouse is a "woman" who is/was a man. Now the "man" is pregnant. And we get these articles about a "pregnant man". Look here, if you have a vagina and uterus you are NOT a MAN. It's simple biology. Is our school system failing so badly we can't tell the difference in anatomy?
It doesn't matter if a woman grows a beard, she's still a female.
But...but... this one "identifies" as a man. So? Does she have a "Y" chromosome? She can identify as a damn cantaloupe if she wants, doesn't change biology.

A man puts a skirt on and now he's suddenly a woman? Doesn't work that way. I dressed up as Jason Vorhees for Halloween once; you see me living in a lake and killing people? Sure, the tendencies might be there but it's not a profession. (Mostly for legal reasons. Plus, waterfront property is too expensive and I'd have to work to pay for it which would cut into my serial killing lifestyle).

And what's this "non binary" bullshit?! You read about this? People who refer to themselves as "they" because they don't "identify as either gender". What the shit, people?!
There's a woman in Canada who just gave birth. She fought to have the baby's gender listed as "U" on its birth certificate. Says the baby can decide its own gender when it gets old enough. Seriously. I can't make this stuff up.
It's not like the Royal "We" or some multiple personality disorder. It's "They". As in "They" are part of the reason the UFO's went away.
I can see it now, some Science Officer from a far-off planet is asked to come abduct and test humans. Their civilization is vastly more advanced than ours and they're supposed to see if we are worthy of their advanced technology. He looks down at Earth on their little interstellar atlas:

"Humans, you say? From EARTH?! No way. We've been down that route. They started advancing then something happened. They just went off the rails. I'm not going back.
"Look, I don't know how it happened but they started some fad where they started 'identifying' as broccoli and half the planet has boiled themselves. We gave them the Pyramids, we helped them develop microwave popcorn and now? Women think they're men, men think they're women. It's like a global psychotic break down there. Nope. Send Bill, I'm not going."

Now we can't have interstellar friends because...people. Unless. Unless all these "non binary" critters ARE from a different galaxy. Like their people came here and dropped them off like "sorry, we broke them.  They're your problem now. Adios"

Look what we've done. Now... stop your shit! I want the Spacemen to come back.
Isn't it bad enough we can't find a Bigfoot anywhere? A whole species of "the missing link" is in hiding because they don't want to be associated with humans. See what we've done? We can't even make new old friends. A camera on every phone in the world and Bigfoot won't even photobomb campers anymore. I'd rather have one Bigfoot or one Spaceman than the ever increasing number of people who "identify" as something they simply aren't.

"Kneeling For Nothing"

So it's becoming a thing to disrespect the flag and country in protest. The same flag that represents a society of freedom. The flag that countless men and women of every race, color and creed have died defending. This kid, Colin Kaepernick gets on tv and says he's protesting the National Anthem. His words are "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."

Hhmm. Colin, Colin, Colin. Are you suffering from a concussion? Weren't you fined for insulting another player by calling him that hateful "N" word? Weren't you fined something to the tune of $11,000? Which dipped into the 14 million dollars you were paid to play a game high schoolers play for fun? Because you're so oppressed and shit. Just barely being allowed to survive, aren't ya?
Among your freedom of speech you also have the freedom to leave this country you dislike so much. So let me ask, if he's so worried about inequity, why hasn't he given all his money to the oppressed people he's trying to raise up? I mean, if all these millionaire athletes and celebrities are worried about social and economic oppression and inequality, couldn't they help solve the issue by pooling all their money together and giving it to the poor who struggle so badly? Wouldn't that solve at least one of the problems? Seems they're awful content to hold onto their riches while speaking out against oppression. Newsflash, fucktards, if you were oppressed you wouldn't be millionaires. You wouldn't have had opportunities to excel. Oppressed? These rich bastards think they're oppressed. Apparently they've never opened a history book. Remember the period before and during the 1960's? THOSE people were oppressed and laws were passed and enforced to prevent that. Now what we have are people who aren't given unfair advantages and they have to work for what they have; work to excel. And they feel that burden to earn or be held accountable for criminal acts is oppressive.

Look, I'm a truck driver. When I get calls about freight they don't ask what color my skin or even my truck is. They just quote the rate. Skin color doesn't factor in. They don't say "but with your white privilege card you get a better rate."

Because, you know, "white privilege" and shit. We even need a group to tell us that Black Lives Matter because we'd gotten careless and just lumped all lives into the same basket. Silly us, thinking all lives are equal. Let's look at some of this oppression and inequity.

Black people kill more black people than cops do. The "violence" that people claim the police commit is not racially motivated. If people of ANY color want to avoid any risk of violence from the police they should quit breaking the law.
Kaepernick says that black people and people of color are "oppressed". I fully support his desire to end this prejudicial oppression. I hope that some day black people are allowed to go to the same schools as the rest of us, be allowed the same financial aid as the rest of us. I pray that some day the oppression will end and black people will be allowed to work, own property or even businesses. Hopefully some day the oppression will end and people of all races and colors will be allowed to be doctors, lawyers, millionaire pro athletes or even run for public office. Can you imagine when everyone is protected by the same rights to free speech, assembly and freedoms afforded everyone else.
But, no, because of "oppression", blacks are stuck with segregation like the NAACP, BET, Jet Magazine, Miss Black America and so on and so forth. If only we could end the segregation and let them be equals. Oh wait...

Just using the word "Oppression" doesn't entitle you preferential treatment. It doesn't mean breaking the law with impunity. You aren't "oppressed" if you just don't try to better yourself. If you apply yourself and put in maximum effort and still fail to succeed, it's not a flag or country oppressing you, it's life oppressing you. Poor decision making isn't oppression.

Just because a millionaire pro athlete raised by a white family isn't smart enough to know what actual "oppression" is, doesn't make his lack of patriotism any more noble. Because he ISN'T oppressed and has the freedom of speech granted ALL citizens, regardless of race, color, creed or religion, he can say whatever he wants. That right was given him by true patriots who paid dearly for it.

We live in a nation where we have a black man as president and a society who says black people are "oppressed". Seriously? Am I the only sane person here?!
Ya know, the other night I was watching a video on Facebook of Terry Crews talking about cooking. I thought to myself then "ya know, he and I aren't too far apart in age. If I'd not been irresponsible during my youth, how much different could my life have been?" I didn't think anyone held me back except myself. I didn't think his greater success was oppressing me.

Did Colin Kaepernick rise to the level of second string, has-been quarterback in the NFL through "oppression"? Or did he apply himself? Did Michael Jordan become the great that he was through oppression? You ever see the movie, The Blindside? It's a true story of a homeless kid who is adopted by a family and he goes on to become a fantastic pro football player. Seems to me that's the exact opposite of oppression. Guess what that guy ISN'T doing. He isn't complaining about being held down by oppression. Instead he's thankful for the opportunities he was given. He isn't running around being disrespectful and complaining about how unfair this country is.

Now that I'm in my 40's I'm informed that this whole time I had a "white privilege" card. I checked my wallet and the mail. Still haven't received it yet. You know what I HAVE received? Struggle. A fight to go from homeless to successful. A struggle every step of the way. You know what "white privilege" is? It's getting blamed for shit. Woohoo! Like I haven't made my own share of mistakes to get blamed for?

Commit a crime, fail to comply with the directions from the cops, pull a gun and get shot... Police brutality. No. It's "criminal stupidity". There's a difference. I hate having to quote a movie in my blog but, as Jim Carey said in Liar,Liar... "quit breaking the law, asshole!"

"But...but... It's society that puts people in the position they've gotta steal to live..." Ya, I've heard that one. Really? In a country where the government encourages everyone, legal citizen and illegal immigrant alike, to live off welfare and food stamps you're telling me we have to steal to survive? To SURVIVE? I think not. This isn't Burundi. This isn't Sherwood Forest and none of us are Robin Hood.
Take some responsibility. Get a job. Quit breaking the damn law. Quit segregating yourselves. Apply yourself, always strive to improve and push. Just like all the successful athletes, actors, musicians, and so on that are succeeding on their own merit.

So people like Colin can use their freedoms to say what they want. Ironic, though, that he has all this freedom to speak out about how oppressed he is. MY right to free speech means I can say he's an overpaid, undereducated, ignorant attention hound.

Namaste and shit.

Now, that's an article I wrote for my blog last year. Surprisingly, this still holds true. Only now I'm going to expound on it.

This "oppression" I hear of... name me someone in America who has truly been oppressed. Tell me what rights they aren't allowed that the rest of us are.
I hear "well you don't get it because you're white." Then they go on to the "if" game. "If a black man..." but no actual examples of anyone from any ethnicity ACTUALLY being oppressed. Just sure conjecture and emotion driven supposition.

"Well it's about racism.." Ok. So then I ask for examples of racism and I get things like "well black people are less likely to succeed when starting below the poverty level." Interesting thought but is that purely because of skin color? Or are there other factors? See, to say something is racially motivated, we have to illustrate how that thing only happens to a specific race and is based on skin color. Like back when water fountains, restaurants and such said "whites only" or "no blacks". THAT was racism. Failure to succeed isn't racism. Especially not when there are, indeed, black people who put forth the drive and motivation and DO succeed. Ask Ben Carson, Eli Whitney, Morgan Freeman and a host of others who rose from poverty to success.

"But Christian, you don't understand. There's inequality". So explain how we aren't treated as equals. Remove emotion and explain to me using logic and reason. We all have the same rights. The law applies to us equally. One's failure to seek or take advantage of opportunities to advance and succeed is not "inequality" or "racism".

The NFL receives Billions of dollars in federal subsidies from taxpayers' money. They are also a tax exempt entity.
For these multimillionaires to say they are protesting the national anthem while holding their hands out for more money from the government is both hypocritical and ludicrous as they're protesting a cause based on fantasy rather than in reality.

"Hate To Tell You..."

Let me be clear: I don't care if you lean left, right, middle or fall over on your back, acts of violence and terrorism are wrong. Your political affiliation doesn't give you a moral high ground. That being said:

For the past several years there's been a growth in two major violent hate groups in America, BLM and Antifa. Both have crossed the line from "hate group" to "terrorist organization" and get increasing media coverage. Both also seem to clash with both police and regular citizens as well as other hate groups.

Take, for example, the unfortunate business in Charlottesville a short bit ago. Looked like 2 hate groups being forced to meet head-on. I'm actually surprised there wasn't more carnage considering both groups are so vehemently opposed. Which is when something struck me as odd.

Maybe I'm the only one who's ever thought about this, maybe it's just because I look at things from multiple perspectives. Either way, hopefully you'll hear me out (or read this all the way through, whatever) and it'll make you go "hmmm".

See, here's what doesn't make sense.... in nearly every major event by BLM and Antifa, the terrorists aren't local for the most part. They come in busses. Seems fair enough; most people don't want to stir up that kind of hatred, vandalism and destruction near home. I get that.
Those people have to be staying at hotels then, right? So in places like Charlottesville you had two opposing hategroups (white Supremacists and BLM/Antifa) come in from out of town, get in a fight in a park then disperse and go back to their hotels? And during their stay, prior to the park incident they all just got along? After the fight they all just went back to the hotels and never argued again? Does that seem odd to you?

I mean, if actual Neonazis and KKK were staying at hotels in the same town as the BLM folks I'd expect there'd be a few fights before and after, not just during. I'm glad there isn't and I don't condone ANY terroristic hate group but I don't buy what tv is selling here.

Do I believe it's possible that there's a larger purpose like just keeping us divided? Yes. It would make sense. As long as we are fighting amongst ourselves over asinine reasons then we can't unite against a tyrannical system. You know, the same system all of these hate groups seem to be opposed to.

So, instead of coming together to make the system better what do we do? We fight over 100 year old statues. Statues that've stood for a century without people being butthurt. Now they matter? Seriously? Or are we just being made to be the assistant while the illusionists perform their trick?

I travel the country. I talk to people from every state, ethnicity, nationality and religion. What I've seen is that the "racism" that these groups says is so rampant doesn't really exist.
I've had political, philosophical and religious debates with people. None of them have led to fights. Or looting. Or rioting. Rarely do they even lead to elevated voices.
Do we always see eye to eye? Of course not. But once we get to the point emotion is removed from the discussion and we are just speaking fact and reason it's just two people talking. Quite often several people talking. Not arguing, talking.

Captain Miss America

Any of you watch Captain America? Dude, that guy is awesome. A little upsetting to find out it's not an actual biography though. Here I was cheering for him and stuff. But, sadly, it's not real. Ok, well a couple parts are true.
As it turns out, there really was a World War 2. Trippy, right? I'm sure you guys already knew that though. There was a bad guy doing bad things. When his buddy attacked us we got active. Obviously, our military was heavily involved and folks were lining up to enlist in the military.

Even though we were at war, a big big war, not everyone was able to grab a gun and go fight. See, this is the other part of the movie that was true. No no, really. They told some people they couldn't get in. It was "hey, thanks for your patriotic offer but it's gonna be a 'no' from us. You've got a medical condition that goes against our hiring policy". Or something like that.
The list included things like flat feet (I guess the arch in the foot is important), asthma (I guess you've gotta breathe ok when fighting for your life), diabetes (because slipping into a diabetic coma when driving a tank might be bad), facial tattoos (maybe something to do with your decision making skills and how it reflects on your employer), and the list goes on.

Hell, I'd planned on going in the military when I was a senior in high school. Only missed one question on the ASVAB according to my recruiter. He basically told me "just pick what you wanna do."  I wanted to be a pilot. He was all "well, anything but that. You wear glasses and you can't be a pilot if you need glasses going in. How about linguistics or something?"
Didn't matter because before I could finalize everything I found something that also disqualifies you, a felony. Yep. I screwed up and got arrested for a felony a week before I was to enlist. Crap. In the 60's they'd have given me the option of going to the military instead of jail. In 1990, not so much.

Now though? Now a BUNCH of people are upset because they reverted to the rule of no "transgender" people in the military. "Progressives" are saying it as "hateful bigotry" to not let these folks in. For 100 years it's been ok to refuse to hire people with medical, legal or psychiatric issues and there's been no outrage. Yet here we are now.

Now, the President met with military leaders and they all discussed this beforehand. It wasn't some sudden and random thing. Their primary reasoning? It's just not cost effective. Hmm. Let's take a quick looksee.

The military budget increases by 2.4 million to 8.4 million annually by accommodating "trans" people. So not hiring them saves millions of dollars a year. I'm not sure if this includes the roughly 2 years they can't actually do the work they're getting paid for while they undergo surgeries at taxpayer expense. If not, I wonder what that cost is.
Then there's the lifetime of maintenance required which, naturally, would also be at the taxpayer's expense. Ongoing hormone treatment and potential surgeries, have we considered that cost?

Let's go just a tad deeper, shall we? With the WPATH Standards of Care. The most recent version, Version 7 of the Standards of Care, says that is strongly suggested that someone does see a qualified mental health professional if they are going to be starting medical transition. But, it does say it is also ok if the medical professional you are going to is trained in behavioral health and/or they work as part of a multiple disciplinary team, meaning there is probably someone there who would do an evaluation with you.
Huh, well that's weird. I thought the military didn't hire people with a pre-existing need to see a mental health professional. In fact: 'Section 8 is a category of discharge from the United States military, used for a service member judged mentally unfit for service. It also came to mean any service member given such a discharge or behaving as if deserving such a discharge, as in the expression, "he's a Section 8".'

"But what about the special accommodations and allowances that can and must be made for 'trans' people in the military?" Well that's certainly an additional expense as well. Special "we care" type training that interferes with the job. Were they willing to make these allowances and accommodations for Steve Rogers all the times he got rejected? What about all the asthmatics? I'm hearing crickets.

See, ultimately, the military is a job. The can set guidelines for who they will hire. For financial reasons they chose to not hire 'trans' people. 'Trans' people already didn't meet the hiring criteria and the last manager/owner, Obama, made exceptions. The military is under new management and they decided to enforce the rules and quit making exceptions. Don't like it? Apply elsewhere. I hear Starbucks likes a good "progressive" cause.

"Her Rights, My Wrongs"

What's up with all of these ridiculous posts and protests lately? You know the ones. People up in arms over the loss of women's rights. The ones about how millions are going to die once Obamacare is repealed and/or replaced. Interesting points.

Now, if you've ever read anything I've written you probably know that I'm about to drop some logic on this. Some of you aren't going to like it. Well here's some exciting news about that: I'm probably not gonna care unless you can give a logical and reasonable debate. So far that's where everyone falters or lapses into supposition and assumption. For the record, I only play the "what if" game with my kids.

So here's the thing. Women's rights. You didn't lose them. They're still sitting right there along with the house you can own with the money you can earn at the job you're allowed to have. Look at you, all "righted" up and shit. Good on ya, ladies.
What's that? Oh. It's about abortion rights. Gotcha. My bad. So you're upset because of the Planned Parenthood thing. Yeah, bummer about that, I've known a person or two who use abortion as a form of birth control. Poor girls might be stuck dealing with accountability now. Drats.
Here's a fun fact: two people were required to make that baby. Where are the men's rights when women abort a child he wanted?

However, women still didn't lose any rights. I've yet to have anyone list any "rights" women have actually lost. For the record here, although abortion has never been listed as a "right", abortion is still available. No one has outlawed it. You know that, right?

Look, I don't think abortion should be used as a form of birth control. I know, I know. The mantra is that it's not my body. Fair point. Your body, his shared DNA. Guess what, it IS my tax dollars I don't want spent on it. You had sex without a thought to the outcome, you pay for your own abortion. How's that for fair? Oh. You can't afford it? Then you may wanna look into the millions of people looking to adopt. Problem solved and shit.

The other rights, what? Equality? Hmm. Let's see. You want equal pay. Ok. For equal work though, right? You know. None of this "but I can't lift as much as these guys, you've gotta make allowances for me because I'm a girl." Oh. Well then I guess you can't lift as big a check as those guys then either. No no. I'm not going to make any special allowances. It's not fair to everyone else. Equal work for equal pay. Bottom line.

Now.... on to this ridiculous nonsense about the "millions that'll die if Obamacare gets repealed." Cough, cough... bullshit. Let's just start there and make you even more upset as we go.
Obamacare is a nightmare of failure and lies. Did it help millions get affordable healthcare? Sure. The ones who already qualified for Medicaid and Medicare. Those of us who were already paying for health insurance? Millions either got dropped or had our premiums raise to the point we couldn't afford it. Unless, of course, we switched to a plan with ludicrous deductibles and limitations.
What do I think the government should do about healthcare? So glad you asked. Nothing. That's what they should do. Nothing except get out of the micromanagement business. Our government wasn't put in place to regulate healthcare. Nowhere in the Bill of Rights does it mention the government needs to get involved. It's simply not in their job description.

Plus, let's face it, what our government excels at is screwing things up. So we want them in the doctor's office with us now? You sure about that?

Oh. I see. You think health care should just be free. Gotcha. You know "free" isn't really free, right? You do understand the money has to come from somewhere, don't you? The more "free" shit we have, the higher taxes go. If you work, that is. You want to give your money to the government and let them manage your life? Have you seen the way our government manages things?

Let them repeal it. Don't replace it. Let insurance companies compete for our business. I assure you the law of supply and demand will lower rates. It's just simple economics.

Simply Enough

We the citizens of the United States once were proud to be a part of the greatest nation in the world. Our allies respected us and our enemies feared us. That has all changed when we allowed the liberals to insist that we all need a safe space. We have become a nation of weaklings.
I remember watching President Trump’s inaugural speech. I had tears in my eyes. The tears were not in sadness, but rather tears of relief and hope. After 8 years I finally found pride in our country. I felt that if I was feeling this pride that others would be feeling this pride also. As hard as it was for me to believe I was mistaken.
Many people marched in protest of the winning of the election by Trump. It was like someone took their blankie away and they were merely having a temper tantrum. What seriously appalled me was the women marching for women’s rights wearing vaginas. Seriously? Who would possibly take that seriously? You set our gender back generations.
Americans it is time to grow up and get out of your safe place. This is the reality of our world today: we don’t need a safe space. We need people to regain their backbone, and be what we were before. We need to become a nation we once were: strong and respectable. If you don’t like who your president is you have two options.  1. Put your adult panties back on or 2. Find another country and move there. Crying still about the results of the election is pointless and makes you look pathetic. Together we can make America great again.

"The American Nightmare"

Ya know, I've heard a lot of talk lately about an immigration ban. My feed is inundated with people arguing both sides. Seems the biggest argument for it is fear of terrorism and the potential for a Trojan Horse style slaughter.
Interesting theory but I don't think that should be a great concern, honestly. Yes, I'm for a temporary ban on immigration but for a different reason entirely. We'll get into that later. First, let's put some minds to rest about something.

The greatest threat to American lives is not terrorism. It's Americans. No no, really. More Americans are killed by Americans every year than by anyone else.
We have shootings in major cities every day. Oddly, most of those cities are "gun free zones" like Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

Stricter gun laws won't change anything because the people with guns in "gun free zones" don't care about the laws. If they did then they wouldn't be killing people. I hear about "common sense gun laws" but that won't change anything. First off, common sense is near extinction. Second, people who are driven to kill each other are going to do so regardless of how strictly you regulate anything. Humans are the most violent creatures on the planet and that will never change.

There are other factors too. Like sheer carelessness and selfishness. Every day I see it out on the road. People cutting across several lanes of traffic to catch an exit without regard to who may get injured, including themselves. People on their phones oblivious to the world around them. People busy eating soup (yes, I've seen that) while driving with nothing more than a knee and a prayer. The more densely populated an area is the more self-centered and careless drivers are, it seems.

Just the other day I was making a delivery in Miami. I saw so much horrendous driving that I'm convinced the people of Miami should not be allowed to drive anything larger than a Big Wheel. And it's feast or famine with those folks. Either they're trying to set land speed records while weaving through traffic like countless shuttles on a gigantic loom. Or they're doing 35 in a 65 causing other cars to pitch and dive into other lanes to avoid them. It's nutso, I tell ya.

Oh, and I can certainly see how this leads to all kinds of murders. In fact, I'm sometimes surprised the murder rate isn't a lot higher in these places. Even I was losing my shit with a lot of these people. I was hurling so many obscenities that I wouldn't have been shocked if they'd taken on physical forms and my words started slapping the hell out of people. I'm not kidding, some of these non-driving retards had me so irritated that at one point I thought I'd cussed a new language into existence.

I'm willing to bet that if everyone had to take a driving test and a test of driving laws, 90% of Americans would be on bicycles by the end of the week. That's one of the few reasons I like back roads in places like Pennsylvania; Amish cars obey highway laws better. They have this thing called courtesy. Most Americans don't know what that is anymore.
Who kills the most Americans? Selfish, self-centered, self-absorbed people who are given to stupidity. Thugs and criminals with guns who should've been beat as kids. Americans are our biggest problem. In every country their biggest problem is the people of that country. See a theme here? The more densely you populate a location, the higher the death rate.

To say we are worried about terrorism is too short sighted. Terrorism isn't nearly the threat to American lives as Americans are. Now, again, I'm for temporarily putting a "hold on a sec, we'll be right back" sign on immigration. Sure. Just not for the same reasons.
See, the way I see it is this: we have way too many starving, homeless, unemployed and impoverished people here already. I think we should focus on fixing what is a broken system before we bring more people in. We already can't take care of the ones we've got, why bring in more people we can't take care of? Honestly, humanity has gotten to the point where fleeing a country isn't the answer. The problem is everywhere.

The Right To Inequality

So there was a big protest this weekend over women's rights. Did they lose any rights? Nah. They just have this preconceived notion they will. I call that "mass paranoia". It was all about "equality" and their right to have abortions. Well wait a minute. These two things are at odds with one another. How, you ask? Excellent question. Don't worry, I'm gonna answer that. Then you folks can lay into me about it. First I want you to think long and hard about shoes and which foot they're on.

So here's the thing about abortion versus equality. You don't want actual equality. What you want is superiority. And you already have it. Problem is, that's not good enough. Enough is never enough though. That's part of the human condition.

First off, do I agree with abortion? Yes and no. Yes, abortion should be an option in the case of quality of life. In the case of rape, incest and severe birth defects. Of course.
However, should it be used as just another form of birth control because you had unprotected sex and didn't think of the consequences of it? No. Should it be a single individual's decision the majority of the time? No.

It took two people to create that child. If the father of that child would be responsible for child support then he should also be allowed to be part of the decision making process. She doesn't want a kid but he does? Then he should be allowed custody at birth. Waive child support along with her rights. Just like they do men. That's equal rights.

This malarkey where women say "well it's MY body..." Yeah yeah. But if you made a conscious decision to have unprotected sex and got pregnant then you've got a bit of him growing in there too. It's not just YOUR body anymore; you're sharing it with that baby.

But, really, it's weird how we humans just take shit for granted. We have sex for recreation rather than procreation. And we do it without caring about the results because we can just scrape out what we consider a mistake. Such selfish thinking.

Look, I saw videos of that protest. Some of those chicks? Seriously, you're safe. Trust me. There isn't enough alcohol. It's like they saw a cause and latched onto it because they knew they'd be free that weekend.

I'm all about people being treated fairly and equally. So long as the hypocrisy is kept in check. "We want equal pay for equal work". Fair enough. However, make sure you're in a field where you are doing the same amount of labor. None of this "well they've gotta make allowances. I can't lift as much" or whatever. I think people should get paid based on the QUALITY and QUANTITY of their work. Occasionally that would mean some women getting paid more than other men or women where they work. Fair wages to match your abilities. Not just because of who you are.

People are quick to defend a woman if she gets hit by a man. But I thought you were equals? NOW your gender counts? Funny how we all get to pick and choose when and how we want to be treated as equals.
Am I for hitting women? Of course not. But I also don't see the fairness in a woman beating the shit out of a guy without him being able to defend himself.

Look, you want to protest shit? Protest away. Seems that in America all we need is a chance and we'll find something to protest. But I'm OK with that. Right up until your "protest" leads to criminal acts like vandalism, blocking public roads and violent behavior.
I assure you that I'm all for running people over regardless of gender or color if they block motorways. I assure you I'm all for widespread arrests of looters, vandals and those who incite or participate in violence.

Namaste and shit.

"A Liberal Dose Of Tears"

Ok, I really wasn't going to write about this. I told myself repeatedly, "don't do it, man. It'll get ugly if you go there." Then the day wore on and stories started circulating and, so, typing happened.
What's life without a bit of ugly sometimes anyway, right? So here goes. Just a couple little observations. Mostly painless ones. Well, sorta. I mean, I'm using words so there's a strong chance some people are going to scream in agony.

So let's kick this off gently, shall we? See, there was this election the other night. Apparently it was some big to do about some presidency. To hear some people it was the announcement of Armageddon. Woohoo! Finally, Armageddon!
Wait. No? No end of world? Oh well, there's always next time. Let's take a look at some of the celebrations of the good news the world isn't ending.

I happened to be traveling from liberal, tolerant, progressive Oregon when the election results came in. They announce Trump won and I listened to his victory speech finish as I pull into a truck stop. The truck stops are limited up in Bigfoot country so it's the same Pilot where I'd discussed alligators before.
I saunter inside, (sauntering, by the way, takes a lot of practice. I nearly moseyed instead), to get coffee. In my haste for warm bean nectar I nearly collided with 2 millennial chicks. They weren't paying attention because they were crying hysterically.
Oh no! Something horrible must've happened! Didn't take long to figure out what. They were lamenting to one of the cashiers there, presumably someone they knew, that Hillary Clinton had lost the election. Then they started going on about how horrible people were for supporting the monster that ruined her. Oh, monsters! Exciting!
So you simpering sods are literally sobbing hysterically over this? Kids. I swear. It took me deliberate effort not to laugh out loud. Granted, the presidency is important, sure. Very serious business. However, it was what their reaction reaffirmed to me that I found comical (yet worrisome).  I'll get to that in a bit but first I'd like to lead you to the path where you can see it too.

First, let's check out the stories of protests and riots that ensued the next day. Riots are always ridiculous to me. Yeah, I mean you California and Oregon folks. You're upset over who gets elected, by your fellow citizens (I won't call them your peers because peer means equal and I can't insult everyone else by calling you their equal), voted into office. So you protest, you riot, you destroy your communities as a show of disapproval.
Is that really what they're protesting? Nah. We've spent the last couple of decades creating an entitled yet divided society. These groups that riot? They really just want to riot so they'll seize on whatever reason is handy. Those rioters aren't doing it for political reasons. They're doing it because they can. Because that kind of behavior has been encouraged. Sadly. Which is ironic in this case. Many people's argument for disliking Trump is because of "his behavior". Pot, meet kettle.
So we can discount the rioting crowd as nothing more than idiots. I mean, really, you wreck your own neighborhood? That's like SUPER well thought-out. You're mad that employment will improve and you may have to work instead of living off the doll queue so you create unnecessary expenses for yourself and your neighbors. Yeah, that'll teach the government! You dolts.

So let's talk about the real problem here. Let's talk about the other stories. The stories of celebrities who've said they'll leave the country if Trump is elected. Maybe that's why those girls were crying, because Miley Cyrus and a bunch of other celebrities are leaving. Some great actors and entertainers like Samuel L Jackson. He said he's moving to South Africa. I'd be almost mildly bothered because I don't think they have the same level of movies we do here. Trust me, that move will hurt his career much more than it hurts my feelings.
Don't cry, though, they aren't going anywhere. They were just saying things they didn't mean. They were speaking from emotion. Hollow words from people who get paid to lie convincingly. They were emotionally charged.
Besides, they're actors. These are people who literally get paid to lie convincingly.

You know who else reacted emotionally? All these college kids protesting in Austin. All these college kids in Virginia, Portland and Texas who need "safe places" to deal with the "trauma of this loss". No, seriously, those are words they use.
And that, folks, is the emotionally stunted, thin-skinned generation that's going to be the future of our country. In other words: if you guys think our country has been in trouble up to this point, just wait another 20 years.

There's the rub. America is, at this point, a company who is deeply in debt and failing. There were 2 primary options for running it. The emotionally driven Democratic voters or the logic and reason driven Republican voters. The emotionally driven, "let's make everyone feel good" party has run the country for 8 years and it's been interesting. Racial divide, unemployment and welfare have grown.
You can't effectively run a business with emotion based management for long. It simply won't work in the long run. It's a sweet sentiment but you'll end up going bankrupt. Especially when employees (citizens in this case) are having to work harder for less so that those working less can have more.

The logical, reasoning Republican party hasn't really fared much better. I don't know that either party can really pave the road to recovery. We've spent decades deliberately weakening our own society.
In the guise of "progressiveness" we are causing our own nation to implode. Granted, the politicians love it. They thrive on it. As long as we fight amongst ourselves then we can't focus on them.

It's been a slow "progression" of decline.

Dr Spock with his "don't spank your kids because it wounds their little psyche." An atheist who didn't want her kid to pray so they removed God from school for everyone to make her happy. Participation awards so kids don't "feel inferior".

We are so worried about coddling and kissing ass as the "feel good" nation. It's self defeating. Our system has grown so soft it's broken. It's been steadily getting worse and now there simply is very little chance it can be fixed.

Hopefully this presidency will be a step in the right direction. Sadly,  I think it's just too late. So you might wonder, "so why are you laughing, Christian?" And that's a fair question. Here's why; here's something to think about:

All these college kids that need therapy dogs, coloring books and play-do because they're so "distraught"... Those are the future leaders of this country. The millennials who need "safe spaces" because their feelings are hurt, among them is possibly a future president. I laugh because some emo goth kid getting a worthless Liberal Arts degree who is sniffing play-doh right now to deal with grown-up disappointment is going to run this country some day. I laugh at the absurdity of these rioters who are essentially the same as 3 year olds destroying their room because they wanted pancakes and got waffles instead.
Look, I'm pragmatic. I'm logical. Watching these disappointed millennials? I feel like a Vulcan trying to understand a daycare facility.

What's funny? What's funny is I see the crying, the hypocrisy of "not accepting the outcome of an election is unamerican" then rioting over the outcome of the election, the way liberals react so strongly. I see the way all these people act and carry on and I laugh because they call US "deplorable".

"Waiting, What a Rush"

So unemployment is at a record low now, eh? That's what Emperor Obama says and his supporters parrot him. I'm a little curious about something though. Where's everyone working and why aren't they at work today?! Middle of the day on most weekdays and traffic is thick and heavy. Congestion starts at like noon. Rush hour is now "stop and go 4 hours".
People going on vacation in the middle of the damn week or something? Who's paying for all this gas? Why don't these people know how to drive?! Why are all these people on my bloody ROAD?! Go home!

Arrrrgh! Buncha non-driving turd jockeys! Just drifting from lane to lane with no turn signals, speeding up to cut each other off, clogging up my highway. Oh! And can we please, please, PLEASE quit making vanity plates?! Good grief, I hate those things.
I bet some of these guys crack themselves up with how "clever" they are. Rarely are they actually all that great. Some are so cryptic they're pretty much pointless. Like what is "I LUV BON"?? You love good?? Good what?! Good FOOD?! Just good fun? Are you trying to prep for Mardi Gras? Why not "I LUV BON TEMPE"? Good WHAT already?! I was waiting for them to have "Jovi" written on the damn bumper.

Speaking of bumpers, the things I've seen on bumper stickers makes me terrified of the future. These Coexist bumper stickers? Cute sentiment. Makes people think you're just a big ole soft hearted trail mix eating flower child. All "peace and love". Liars. I've seen some of those "Coexist" people drive like they just HOPED they could run someone over. Talk about aggressive driving. Honking and screaming as they tore through traffic; I was positive they'd push a carload of nuns off a cliff to get 10 feet farther down the road.

Sigh. I realize not everyone rides around looking at cars and I understand not everyone knows cars. Well thank god some folks were kind enough to put the make of their car across the windows in giant letters. Chopper pilots are looking down going "that's an impala.", from a mile up. Yeah, yeah, I know it's "cool" but I can't help but think to myself "how stupid is this person that they bought a car but can't remember what they bought?"
Is this how they tell people to find them at the mall? "I'm in the Honda Civic. It's the one that says Honda Civic across the windshield." Or is it more like "so, Billy, what kind of car do you have?"  I dunno. Let me go look at my windows.

Ya know what I don't get? In order to drive a large vehicle pulling a trailer I had to get a CDL. Yet I see the friggin Griswalds out here pulling a trailer with a rental RV or U haul. Really?!
Here I am with special training I paid for, all kinds of ridiculous rules and regulations I've gotta learn and remember, and there's Betsy Homemaker with her gardening hat, chihuahua in her lap, driving a 40 foot U-Haul with a car and a trailer bouncing around behind it. She's totally oblivious of things like clearance, traffic or mirrors but she gave the rental company her credit card so she's "good to go".
I'm subject to laws regarding weight restrictions on roads or how many hours I can drive in a day. Then there's companies out there who literally rent RV's for cruising across America. I've gotta worry about stopping for a mandatory 30 minute break every eight hours but Grandpa Jones can bebop down the motorway sipping his Metamucil laced Shirley Temple all day.

Meanwhile the fuel paradox remains: if all these people are driving around in cars all day then they obviously aren't at work. So how do they keep buying gas to joy ride to the mall all damn day?!

"The Calm"

Clouds of despair growing ominous and dark
Turning your sunny disposition into one of sadness
As a lifetime of bad decisions strike their mark
Voices of negativity thundering into madness
You feel the downpour beating you down by the minute
Flooding you and washing your self confidence away
You're fighting the storm but you're caught up in it
The tempestuousness of life overwhelming every day
The storm clouds of life will consume you if you let them
But you can turn to the shelter of my arms when they form
For we can weather this life together my friend
And rejoice in the calm that always follows that storm

"Stand Up, Stupid"

MY right to free speech means I can say he's an overpaid, undereducated, ignorant piece of shit.

Namaste and shit.
